Quick Update! 

Update your addresses. Expect arrival of product within 40 days. Addresses are getting locked in 5 days. 

Overall Timeline: Delayed 2 more days due to an issue with Amazon Seller Support. Product is expected to ship out from supplier to our freight forwarding company on September 2nd.

We have developed all pamphlets, packaging, and are now beginning to work on the website. The cups have been completed but we are waiting to see the mass production complete for the lids. The supplier is now printing our packaging. 

US fulfillment Issue: Amazon is the main fulfillment method for US sales, and we wanted to use their systems to develop all barcodes but there were several issues that forced us to go another route. Hopefully this can be addressed by them before September 10th, when the product needs to leave our freight forwarding company's USA branch for Amazon's warehouses. If Amazon continues to be nonresponsive, we will be forced to find another fulfillment route. 

In other news: We have had a few calls and are working towards a retail partnership with Touch of Modern, a major e-commerce retailer known for offering premium and bespoke products to its customer base of 16 million people! Stay tuned. 😊

Finish your surveys! Manufacturing Update!

94 people still need to finish their surveys! Get it done tonight or else!

Hey guys, I am now charging cards and locking orders. If you haven't filled out the survey, check your email now for mail from 'Nick | Mastermind'!

There have been more surprise delays, but there's light at the end of the production tunnel! The lids are more complex to manufacture now, and they will take 45 days to produce according to the supplier. They said production will be complete on August 31st. 

(If any of you end up changing address, I will not lock in addresses Until August 31st.)

Now that I've ripped the band-aid off, here's the scoop. 2 weeks ago I received the lid production samples, and it looked amazing, except for one problem. The magnet pod was falling out of the lid in the drop test, because the designer had not designed the mould to fuse the pod to the rest of the lid! 

Luckily, they managed to fix the error by adding a fusion step to the process and changing the mould again. I just received footage that it looks good, and we have commenced production officially.

I've gotta brag on this thing. The morning I got the production sample last week, I brewed some hot coffee in the brewer. It was amazing! She works like a charm.  :) 

Packaging is complete!

In Other News, today I will receive the final production samples, and based on extensive video review, things look perfect. The revised filters are complete. Things are looking pretty good!

Deliveries still on track for middle-end of August, depending on your location.

Manufacturing Update

Hello Everyone,

Quick Update. We're about to release the surveys in the next 4-5 days, the lid mould is finished, and they are working on lid production samples now.

 NOTE: THE LID PRODUCTION SAMPLE WILL BE CRYSTAL CLEAR. The sample shown below is colored to assist us in spotting defects prior to the production run. 

     The cups are done as well, images above.

    All product will be headed to the warehouse by the end of July, but our shipping costs to the USA nearly doubled from the Hong Kong warehouse since November, so I will be shipping freight Air to Amazon for affordable and fast fulfillment.

    We will be offering the discounted filter and lid around $16 when you are filling out the survey for those who are interested in buying the old filters.

Manufacturing Update: More issues, but timeline still in place.

Hey Everyone!

Things are still moving along well with the project, and we are still set to deliver products in July.

The Cup & Lid

The cup molds for the fill line and embossed features are being finalized this week and the painting only takes 3 days, so we opted to just paint the samples next week when the mold is done.

The Filter

The filters completed mass production yesterday, and I got good news and bad news from my rep upon inspection. Apparently our final drawing we sent to them did not get picked up, and they did not etch the fill lines onto the filter. This is unacceptable, and they are remaking the filters. Unfortunately, now we have 1,000 filters that we need to get rid of. I had to buy them anyway, so maybe they will be offered at a discounted rate as an add-on. On the bright side, the filters were ahead of schedule, and we are able to remake them with no delays to the final manufacturing completion schedule of the end of June.

The IndieGoGo InDemand Campaign has begun

We launched a pre-order campaign with IndieGoGo InDemand, which will definitely help give us that boost that we need to produce everything, without putting more of our savings into it. I just received a message from one of the backers expressing concern that the IndieGoGo pre-order campaign will affect the end quality of service for the kickstarter backers. Please be assured that the IndieGoGo was always part of the plan for the final 60 days of production, and that kickstarter backers will be the first to receive their product.

(If you are interested in purchasing more goods, you can wait for the Backerkit survey that is approaching, or you can purchase via IndieGoGo. Either way, all backer rewards are ultimately going to be fulfilled with Backerkit.)

The Backerkit surveys have been delayed until the delivery date is closer. The reasoning here is that we don't want to send products to old addresses.

Question: Would you guys be interested in a discounted filter and lid as an add-on, if it did not include the fill lines?
