Survey Response Required!!! Old Filters shipping out next week, New filters are being re-made

Hello everyone,
I hope you all had a good holiday season, and everyone got to catch up with loved ones over a nice cup of coffee!
Heads up, there is a survey link at the bottom, whichwill enable you to change your order to ouroriginal filter model, shipping to you within 2 weeks! If you don't do the survey, your order will be unchanged, and you will receive the filter with fill lines.
3 things happened this month:
Bad news first - our filter fix fell through, and the supplier refunded us our money after they failed to produce the adapters.
We hired a new mold maker to produce new V2 Filters entirely, and are recycling the original steel filters that had bad threading. (We are now referring to these units with fill lines as V2 Filters.)
We shipped our V1 Filters (Units without fill lines, which were produced last summer) to our warehouses, and are preparing to fulfill anyone's order who just wants the V1 filters instead of waiting more time.
Timeline:
NON-USA Customers: V1 Filter orders or newly converted orders will be ready to ship out early next week.
USA Customers: V1 Filter orders or newly converted orders are shipping out in the first week of February.
People choosing to wait for V2 Filters: The new filters will take about 90-110 days to make and ship.
How to change your order to receive V1 filters, or learn more:
If you wish to change your order to receive V1 filters plus a free coffee scoop (while supplies last), please click the survey link below and follow the instructions. By default, if you do not respond to the survey, your order will not be modified and you will receive what you originally ordered. A confirmation email will be sent after the survey is submitted. We hope that this update is a good compromise for anyone who wants their product ASAP, and I sincerely apologize for the delays accompanying this project. On the other hand, we are excited to ship some product finally!
Thank you,
Nick

Filter Mould getting polished this month

Hello all,
I would love to be coming to you with better news... as much as we were hoping for a Christmas arrival, unfortunately our custom filter moulds are facing a 1 month delay. We expect that the fix will be completed on January 10th. I guess a custom mould always takes 2-3 times longer than agreed upon.
V1 Filter Moulds
On a cheerier note, as of 2 weeks ago, the entire rest of our product and add-ons are in our warehouses and are ready to ship out. Which means that as soon as the filters arrive we will start shipping to you immediately!
Once again, we thank you for your patience as we wait on the last leg of the product to be completed.
Happy holidays to all,
Nick
Freight is enroute, and Filter Fix is on Schedule

Hello everyone!
Just a quick update, the mould is complete on the filters and the fix is being verified this week. The remaining goods are all on their way via ocean freight to the USA and Hong Kong.
Amazon has delays in warehouse processing for the holiday season. They are saying it will take about 3 weeks to process the inbound goods, so we may miss the Christmas arrival by a few days. We are planning to have the product in their hands by December 13.
Orders outside of the USA should still arrive by Christmas, since we are using a different warehouse for them. We're looking forward to hitting the shelves!
Thanks everyone for your kind support and insane patience!

Hey Everyone,
As promised, quick update this week to the issues announced last week. We have confirmed that a new custom adapter can be made to fix the bad threading on the original filters. The mould making process will start next Wednesday and takes 25 days typically. I have shipped all the samples needed for mould designer to get started.
I want to test it to triple check that the product looks and functions properly first, so parts are ordered, and testing will also be occurring next week when the welders get back from holiday.
In short, The timeline is currently looking like 70 days from Next week. See below for more details.
Mould Making: 25 days
Manufacturing Adapter: Unknown (est. 7 days)
Shipping Adapters: 4 days
Welding the fix: Unknown (est. 7 days)
Express Air Shipping the repaired filters: 8 days
Bundling: 4 days
(US only) Shipping to Amazon: 2 days
(Possible addition of 1 week sitting in AMZ warehouse awaiting processing)
Product Delivery: 5 days (could be longer for customers outside of North America or Asia.)
Miscellaneous Buffer time: 9 days
Thanks for your patience all!

Hey everyone!
I hadn't updated you because we faced minor delays in the production warehouse due to some scheduling errors on the suppliers end. This week, we were in the process of scheduling QC of the product, but my supplier contacted me with some major issues. Almost comically(except no one is laughing), the filters aren’t threading onto the lids again...
If you watched that video, then you know we can't ship these out.
So here's what happened. Our filter supplier gets its threaded parts from a 3rd party, and that 3rd party decided to change its thread profile.. for a 3rd time. This issue slipped through the cracks back in June during filter production #2, and our in-factory final production QC also spectacularly failed to catch the error (even though we gave them our lids to test with). So now we have a truckload of filters without fill lines that fit the lid wonderfully - but the filters with fill lines don’t fit... Ironic!
But don’t worry, we are currently exploring our options! In an attempt to expedite the fix, and get your filters out to you all ASAP, we are considering making a custom steel adapter that we will permanently install over the filter's bad threading, replacing it with the proper threading. And to make sure there are no more threading issues in the future, we have already hired a dedicated company to make the filter's threaded piece with a completely custom mould, instead of piggybacking off of other existing products.
I will have a detailed plan in place by the end of this week, and I will provide another update when we finalize a solution and have and estimated timeline in place. Thank you all for being so patient as we work through these set backs. The end result will be worth it, we promise! Also, feel free to share any and all feedback!
Happy Pumpkin Spice Season,
Nick O. | Owner
