Can I brew Hot drinks in this brewer?
Absolutely. While the brewer was especially designed for cold brewing, brewing hot coffee or tea is easy. We’ve outlined the process below: 1. Fill grounds up to the fill line in the filter. 2. Fill your tumbler to the fill line with water at 195-205 degrees Fahrenheit. 3. Carefully submerge the filter into the cup, and swirl the brewer gently for 3 minutes. 4. Remove the grounds and enjoy!

Why was cold brew so popular this summer? Isn't it just iced coffee?
Cold brew exploded this year because it is both better tasting and healthier than regular hot-drip coffee. No, it is not iced coffee! The cold brewing process uses cold water and time to extract the flavor from the coffee grounds, compared to the rapid extraction that hot-drip brewers use.
The secret is that cold water extracts ~70% less acid from the coffee grounds than hot water (plus it also pulls out fewer alkaline solubles), which means that your coffee ends up tasting a lot less sour and bitter. If you have frequent heartburn & drink a lot of coffee, cold brew is a delicious solution to your problems! (Unofficially, our friend’s physician recommended they switch to cold brew for this reason!)
So if you’re new to cold brew, get ready to enjoy a smoother, sweeter flavor of coffee.

What is your international shipping policy?
Our shipping costs do not include customs fees or taxes. Sorry about that! We unfortunately don’t have the capability to estimate these charges ahead of time for each country, especially in today’s age where it’s become wildly unpredictable. So, international backers…please make sure you take into account any additional fees and taxes charged by customs in your country, as well as for ensuring the imported product complies with your local laws. We are using a service called Backerkit, which will allow you to choose you tumbler color and add on cool accessories for just a bit extra cash. We’ll send out surveys after the campaign for all this stuff.

How do I clean the Kōld Brewer? Can I scratch the paintjob?
We believe in practical solutions, which is why we made sure that everything would be dishwasher safe. You can also use anti-scratch scrubbing pads, but avoid using the Green Heavy duty scour pads on the copper finish and the filter.
Also, unlike most other filters, our MK filter won’t become clogged up with coffee residue over time. (If you use a Ninja Coffee brewing system, you have seen this firsthand.) We have found that simply rinsing the filter out a bit each time does the trick.

What other tumblers will this lid and filter fit?
30 oz Tumblers Only!!!
The lid & filter fit all YETI & Ozark Trail tumblers, as well as most off-brand tumblers.
The lid and filter will NOT fit RTIC & BUILT tumblers.
If you are worried about your fitment, cruise on over to your nearest Walmart with your lid, and try fitting it onto an Ozark Trail tumbler from their camping section! ;) haha (Or just ask us and I’ll try to order one & check or walk you through the measurement process)

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
